great shot!

i have always love what comes out from their ‘band album’. the photo themes always hits the right aesthetic for me.
with their new ‘Hello Hurricane’, which I bought in Dec 2009, i only spin it once in my car. Like their previous albums, I couldn’t get my finger on the flow, first round. So it stays untouched.
Jan 2010 - Feb 2010 : fully loaded life.
now, end of Feb, I play Hurricane again for 3 days in a row.
I love. Love more. Love even more. I keep thinking, surfing, surfing surfing. I love surf guys! ^_^
Today, I am bummed that KL is not in the tour list.

Switchfoot : a band that you can hate or love. the whole ‘christian label’ isn’t necessary. it might seem like an act to own them like property. which clearly is NOT what they wanted to be in the first place. but i get that this community is saying, ‘hey this is positive. recommended.’. also that Jon’s writing reflects his own belief in which I think is wonderful to see the way he tries to symbolize them to fit all belief. Similarity and Freedom of Humanity.

but back to music, back to human thoughts and emotions and it’s releasing medium, it’s just a phase. like all albums, each are a phase. it passed. it gets old. it gets nostalgic. it gets used. it gets burned. it gets forgotten.

music to me was never a slogan, method or guidance for life.
